This Department is committed to render services in the challenging world of industries and organisations by shaping the students talent in the field of Electronics as well as in the field of Communication with high technical brilliance. “Electronics” is the only word that finds a prominent place in the areas of industrial application, communication, Automation etc. The scope of electronics when it relates with communication, has a great impact. Students of our department are well trained and equipped, to suit the latest trends in this modern world.

Budding Engineers are imparted knowledge from well qualified staff members. Students are provided with good environment for education. Eminent personalities from various reputed companies are invited to give guest lectures in emerging areas. The students are provided with technical knowledge about latest trends in their field. The department is fully equipped with high end laboratory facilities. Students are given practical knowledge through mini projects periodically.

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in ITM in 2001. Our Electronics and Communication Engineering programme aims to equip students with the core competence in fields like VLSI Design, digital communication, the internet of things, robotics, etc. The department conducts various workshops, expert talks, and additional training programmes on recent trends in Electronics and Communication Engineering to bridge the gap between academics and industry. The objective is to empower our students with latest technical knowledge and skills by providing them with the best teaching faculty, lab facilities, excellent development environment and excellent infrastructure. My goal and vision is provide a healthy environment for the students and teachers to carry out inter-department collaborative research work as per the current demand of the society.

The students of this Department have excelled in the past and with the presently equipped infrastructure facility, competent faculty, diverse students and established processes, I wish and am confident that this department will continue to excel moving towards our vision to be recognized as a benchmark and trend setter in Electronics and Communication Engineering domain keeping in phase with rapidly changing technologies through effective partnership with reputed academic institutions, research organizations, industries and community.
