Evergreen Department of mechanical Engineering flourished with the state-of-art laboratories and experienced faculties. The department functions with the mission of producing Quality Engineers and attains the same by hard work. The department concentrates not only in technical activities but also in Personality Development. The department is active in educating the students and maintaining a high quality of education level. The department produces young talented engineers every year. The Mechanical Engineering department is trying to bridge the gap between industry’s need and the academic curriculum. Mechanical Engineering department is also giving the concept of reverse engineering to the final year students. Reverse engineering concept Productivity, Value Engineering and stress on TQM is looked after very intensively by our department. Additional inputs are also being provided to sustain the development with respect to environment through quality assurance.

The multiple areas of research in our department are manufacturing and materials, industrial engineering, thermal sciences, and design engineering.
